DESCRIPTION:The Tri Lakes amateur Radio Club will be offering another of it
 s very successful Amateur Radio Technician\nLicense “Boot Camps on Satur
 day May 16\, 2026.\n\nThe Technician License is the entry point for new Am
 ateur “Ham” radio operators. This entry-level license\nallows the oper
 ator to use the VHF and UHF frequencies utilizing very inexpensive radios.
 \n\nTher “Boot Camp” is a day long intensive study session to prepare 
 the student to take the FCC exam at the\nend of the day. Our sessions have
  had about a 95% testing success rate.\n\nThe session will be held at the 
 Branson United Methodist Church\, 1208 West 76 Country Blvd. in Branson\na
 nd will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and be completed by approximately 5:00
  p.m.\n\nCost of the class is $60.00 which includes the class\, test fee\,
  lunch\, snacks and upon successful completion\nof the test a fully progra
 mmed hand-held radio to get on the air with and a complimentary membership
  of\nthe Tri Lakes Amateur Radio Club.\n\nTo obtain registration informati
